Made by the venerable J.C. Newman Cigar Co., El Baton is a Nicaraguan puro made with rich, hearty tobaccos wrapped in a Nicaraguan Corojo wrapper. these bad boys have “mucho flavor” for “menos dinero.” This is definitely a full-bodied cigar with a nice balance of strength and flavor. And while El Baton may fly under the radar somtimes, there is no doubt these are excellent cigars. Just ask Cigar Aficionado, who award the El Baton the #14 spot on their Top 25 Cigars of 2012 list. Give them a try and you might find a new staple for the humidor!
